1:1 Support

Some decisions you shouldn't make alone with a checklist.

You've read every guide. You've made the spreadsheet. And you still don't feel sure you're making the right call.

Ninety minutes, one-on-one, with someone who's actually done this move — not a webinar, not a course, a real conversation about your specific situation.

I'm not a coach, and this isn't ongoing coaching. I'm a practical move-abroad researcher and decision-support person — tell me what you're trying to figure out, and I'll help you sort it, research it, and turn the mess into something usable.

Who This Is For

This call is for you if...

  • You're actively planning a move abroad and want to stop guessing
  • You're overwhelmed by research — twelve tabs open, no idea which one has the real answer
  • You're stuck on a specific decision: destination, housing, timeline, visa path, what to pack, what to sell
  • You want answers that are actually about your situation, not a generic guide that technically applies to everyone and really helps no one
  • You know you want to do this, but you're scared — and you just want to talk to someone who's done it alone, done it scared, or done it for the first time too
What Happens On The Call

90 minutes, structured around you.

This is a real conversation, not generic advice.

  • One-on-one, 90 minutes, just us
  • Bring whatever's actually stuck — your destination ideas, your timeline, your budget, your specific worries
  • We'll work through housing, visa timing, budget, and logistics — whatever's most urgent for your move
  • You leave with a clear plan and real next steps, not more homework

Why Me

I built this because I lived the chaos.

I didn't design Departure On Call from a course or a certification — I moved abroad myself and dealt with every piece of this firsthand: the visa paperwork, the housing decisions, the banking headaches, the logistics nobody warns you about. I'm not here to sell you the fantasy version of moving abroad. I'm here because I've actually solved the problems you're dealing with right now, and I'd rather talk you through them directly than have you piece together conflicting answers from a Facebook group at midnight.

Life Abroad, Unfiltered

The everyday version, not the highlight reel.

Grocery runs in a language I'm still learning, meal-prep Sundays, the view from my apartment, and my very serious scooter helmet. This is what living abroad actually looks like day to day — and it's the version I'll help you plan for.

Coffee and flowers on the living room table of Britt's apartment abroad
The view from my place
Britt holding a clear umbrella on a rainy cobblestone street in Europe
Me, still going out in the rain
A week's worth of homemade meal prep containers on the kitchen table
Meal-prep Sunday
Britt in a pink scooter helmet and sunglasses on a busy street abroad
Scooter life (helmet non-negotiable)
A vendor opening up the neighborhood fruit market in the morning
The neighborhood market
The produce aisle at the local grocery store with price tags in another currency
Grocery run, still learning the words
Motorbikes parked outside a leafy café where locals work and chat
My kind of café office
Sound Familiar?

You don't need to have this figured out before we talk.

"I don't know where to start."
"I'm overwhelmed by Facebook groups and conflicting advice."
"I don't know what country actually fits me."
"I need help narrowing down neighborhoods or housing."
"I'm not sure what I should even be deciding first."
"I'm worried I'm forgetting something important."

If any of those sound like you, that's exactly what this call is for.

Why Not Just Ask A Facebook Group

Because generic answers don't know your situation.

Facebook groups and forums give you broad, often conflicting advice from people who don't know your visa category, your budget, or your timeline. This call is personalized to your actual move — no doomscrolling, no guessing which comment to trust, no advice that technically applies to a hundred different situations and helps with none of them. Just focused time on your specific plan.

Before you book, here's the fine print.

After The Call

You leave with a plan, not more to figure out.

You'll walk away with real clarity on your next steps — not another list of things to research. If something new comes up later, you can always book another call. And if what you actually need is deeper, country-specific research done for you, that's what the Departure Dossier is for.
